Msgr. Reilly leads a Prayer Vigil in Chicago. He also gives a presentation on the Helpers spirituality. The purpose of the Helpers is not primarily about saving the physical life of the child, but it's about conversion, and the salvation of the souls of the mothers, abortionists, their staff, and all involved. The culture of death is so sweeping that legislation cannot stop it. Population control is an international conspiracy. The mentality of the culture of death is beyond the help of humans. Msgr. urges all not to be upset about the darkness, but to bring light into the darkness. "In order for this darkness to be overcome, you and I have to be the light!" We must go to the Calvary at the same mindset as John and Mary at the foot of the Cross. It is the risen Christ who is present at the modern-day Calvary, in the mystical body of His Church. "You (God), and you alone can overcome death, and error, and darkness, with your light, your life, and your love. Use me as your instrument!" When we go to Calvary, we should remove all spiritual baggages, signs of confrontation and condemnation, we are there in absolute love, to be Christ to them, in meekness and gentlenss. The power of God takes over. Msgr. also stresses the importance of post-abortion counseling. He said the greatest place for evangelization is at the Calvary -- the abortion clinics. The Helpers hands out 10,000 Rosaries anually at abortion clinics. To overcome the culture of death, Jesus Christ is the only ultimate answer. "He is the Gospel of Life! He is Life! He is alive in you, and me!".

Msgr. Reilly delivers a seminar on sidewalk counseling to helpers in Glendale, California in 1998. This seminar includes many practical sidewalk counseling techniques in details. It serves as good training material for those who are interested in becoming a sidewalk counselor.

Msgr. Philip Reilly appeared on EWTN program Sunday Night Live, hosted by Fr. Benedict Groeschel, right before "March for Life" in 2008. The two discussed the Pro-Life movement on where we are and where we are going.

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 there was a Public Hearing at New York City Hall on Int. No. 826, a Bill concerning the prohibition of activities to prevent access to reproductive health care facilities. It is important to note, that there has already been passed, Federal, State and City Laws protecting the abortion clinics. Although there have been multiple false accusation by the abortion clinics, especially Ambulatory Surgery Center of Brooklyn, there has been no violations by or arrests of any Helpers, in respect to these Laws. Still not satisfied, the abortion providers want the City Council to pass Int. No.826 to amend the 1994 New York City Clinic Access law. This Amendment would remove the requirements found in all three previous Laws, namely “intent” that is, that it be proved that the person being accused, intended to violate the Law and secondly, that the original accuser or person making the complaint, actually give witness.. The New Law would allow abortion clinic owners to make the complaint, without the complainer appearing and without having to prove the person being accused intended to break the Law and finally to making the action itself no longer a violation but a criminal offense punishable by fine or imprisonment or both. The bill does not include any penalty for false accusations by the abortion owners. Would they make false accusations? On Dec. 21 2000, in a unanimous decision by the NYS Appellate Division, Second Department , the Ambulatory attorney was sanctioned and imposed with a $10,000 fine for misrepresenting the facts by falsely signing and notarizing 11 affidavits filed with the Court. At the New York City Hall Hearing, Ambulatory was complaining about some pictures the Helpers had in the display outside the clinic, that would disturb the patients. Please watch the video of the Helpers Prayer Vigil, entitled the City of God vs. the City of Man, that took place outside of Ambulatory Surgery Center, three days before the Public Hearing. It shows the Helpers praying and the counter demonstration outside the entrance to Ambulatory with the Administrator standing before the front entrance, given his approval. Watch the City of God vs. the City of Man video, and you tell me, who truly has respect for the patients coming to the clinic.

Msgr. Reilly gave a beautiful homily on marriage, family, life, and Divine Mercy at the Nuptial Mass of two helpers from Philadelphia in April 2009.

Celebration of the 5-year anniversary of life centers in Vienna, Austria. This is also to celebrate the 50-year birthday of Dietmar Fischer, the leader of the pro-life centers in Austria, and head of HLI Austria. Dietmar first brought the Helpers and Msgr. Reilly to Europe over 10 years ago. 50 babies from different continents were brought together to celebrate life on this special birthday celebration. The celebration concludes with a Helpers candle light Prayer Vigil at an abortion clinic.
